With it comes all the usual 'how have I gotten here so fast?' and 'I still feel 25' thoughts but of course I can't let these spoil the celebrations. This year it kicked off with a dinner at the Golden Horse Casino on the eve of my new year, a birthday of mooching about and family time (my first birthday without mom though - who always told me the story on my birthday of how the nurse came to tell her she had had a beautiful baby girl) and then my final day of celebrations was a movie - The Intern, which I rather enjoyed and not just because we had free tickets :-), a little bit of shopping and then a Traditional Thai massage followed by a Thai food dinner. I finally got to try out fried ice-cream too...yummy!
And then there is Bumpy - my cute little mini yorkie who already follows me around. Christened Bumpy by Dillon who is currently going through a Noddy phase.
